Welcome to Monk Bark Farm – a paw-some day out for the whole family!
We’re excited to welcome you to Monk Bark Farm, the perfect spot for family fun, fresh air, and furry friends! Spread across 84 acres of beautiful countryside, there’s loads to explore and memories waiting to be made.
Join us for a weekend of tail-wagging fun on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March, when dogs are invited to enjoy the farm alongside their families! But before you set off, please take a moment to read through our important guidelines to help keep everyone safe—whether they’re on two legs or four.
Dog Owners, Please Note:
- Well-behaved dogs only – aggressive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Dogs are not permitted in the café or the petting barn.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs at all times.
- Dogs must not foul in or around the children’s play areas.
- No dogs allowed in the sandpit.
- Banned breeds are not permitted on-site.
- We’re home to a variety of local wildlife, including wild rabbits, deer, and other animals. For their safety (and your dog’s), dogs MUST remain on leads at all times.
- Any dog found off-lead will result in the dog and its owner being asked to leave the park.
Now, onto the fun!
Head to the petting barn, where you can meet and feed some of our adorable animals. With over 300 farmyard residents, from fluffy sheep to cheeky goats, there’s always a new face to make you smile! - no dogs are allowed in the petting barn.
Wander through our woodland walk, fully accessible and surrounded by the beauty and serenity of nature – a lovely way to enjoy the outdoors during your visit.
For the little ones (and the not-so-little ones), our two play areas are bursting with fun. Whizz down the slides, swing as high as you can, or zip through the air on our thrilling zip lines. Don’t forget the mini fairground train – a ride that’s a hit with everyone! Please note: no dogs in the sandpit.
Feeling bouncy? Our giant jumping pillows are perfect for burning off energy and having a giggle. There’s plenty of open space for running wild, playing games, or simply enjoying the fresh air (on a lead if you’re a dog!).
When it’s time to refuel, pop into the Hungry Monk Café for tasty treats to keep you going—although, as a reminder, dogs are not allowed inside the café, but we do have plenty of outdoor seating.
Or why not grab a scoop (or two!) of ice cream – the perfect farm day treat!
With a free car park, a gift shop, and lots of fun packed into every visit, Monk 'Bark' Farm is ready to make your day out truly special.
